VRCBoost (this site) is an unofficial search site run by an individual. This page explains how visitor information is handled and what your device sends to others while you use this site.
1. Information we collect
You do not need an account to browse this site. While you browse, information is sent to others as described in 2 and 3; if you sign in or turn notifications on, information is stored and sent as described in 4 and 5. This site never asks you to type your name or email address.
2. Analytics (Google Analytics)
To understand how the site is used and improve it, this site uses Google Analytics by Google LLC, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect browsing information without identifying you personally.

3. Item images (BOOTH)
Item images are shown directly from the servers of BOOTH (pixiv Inc.). When an image loads, your browser sends pixiv Inc. your IP address, browser type and the domain of this site, among other things.

4. Signing in (Discord)
Signing in uses the service of Discord Inc. When you sign in, this site receives your Discord user ID, username and display name (not your email address) and stores them with the avatars and items you register as owned, your outfits and kits and the shops you follow.
An outfit or a kit can be seen by anyone with its URL only if you make it public; a public one does not show your name.
To keep you signed in, this site uses a session cookie and a security cookie, only for its own features and never sent to others.
Deleting your account on My page deletes all of this.

5. Notifications (Discord direct messages, email)
Only members who turn notifications on in My page get a daily message about new items and sales. Turning on Discord direct messages takes you through Discord's consent screen to join the VRCBoost Discord server, whose bot sends the messages. Turning on email takes you through Discord's consent screen to receive the email address of your Discord account (one Discord has verified), which is sent to Resend, Inc. (USA) to deliver the emails.
The email address is deleted when you turn email off, unsubscribe with the link in an email, or delete your account. A record of each sending (time, number of items, success) is kept to find problems and to keep within sending limits.

6. Remembering your display choices and recent avatars
When you pick Japanese or English with the language switch, a cookie remembers it so the site opens in that language next time. When you pick "For avatars" or "World assets" in the header, a cookie remembers it so the top page and other pages open on that side next time. Both are used only to show this site.
The avatars you viewed last (up to five) are kept in a cookie for a year (updated whenever you open an avatar's page), to show them and the sales of items for them on the top page. The cookie is sent to this site's server when you open a page and is used only to build the page; it is never stored with member data or sent to others. Clearing your browser's cookies removes it.
7. Server logs
The hosting of this site (Vercel, Cloudflare) and its API (Railway) briefly record IP addresses and access times for troubleshooting and to prevent abuse.
